How to Make Laundry Day Easier

No one likes doing laundry, but it's a necessary part of life. Since it has to be done, why not make it as pleasant as possible? We'll let you in on some useful tips that will take this mundane chore and turn it into something that is actually enjoyable.

1. Clean Lint Screen

First things first. Before you do anything with your clothing, you need to clean the lint screen of the dryer. There's nothing worse than pulling a pair of pants out of the dryer and having lint all over them. Cleaning it now will save you a lot of time later.

2. Sort Into Equal Piles

Next, sort your clothing into piles based on fabric and color. This will make folding later much easier on you and will cut down on laundry day stress significantly.

3. Wash Whites with Whites

When washing whites, make sure to wash them with white clothes only or they could stain.

4. Wash Colors Separately

When washing colors, make sure to use a separate load of colored clothes in the machine. This way, no one will color run during the fold process.

5. Adjust Settings

If you're having trouble getting your dryer to dry clothes completely, change your settings to tumbling or low heat setting so that your clothes will get more air time and be dried faster.

6. Use the Dryer Sheets

If your standard bed sheets are too scratchy, try using dryer sheets to add some softness to your clean clothes.

7. Add a Crispness Toss in a Bounce Dryer sheet and a dryer sheet at that, the next time you pull out your jeans, put them into the dryer and toss in a Bounce brand dryer sheet as well! This will make them come out even more crisp than they already are!

8. Check Your Clothes Before Putting Them In

Make sure to check that each garment is properly hanging over the bar so that all of them will be dry.
