New Design Trends this 2022

Some of the design predictions for this year.

It's like 2021 just passed by and we are thankful that we have learned something. It sure did bring us a lot of pain but, looking at the bright side of it, we managed to strive and become stronger. Along with this is our never-ending will to study the things to help us progress in life.

Aside from the fact that we are affected by the pandemic, it brought us new experiences and opened our eyes to new possibilities. With our creative and weird mind at work, here are some of the designs we think will be trendy.

Geometric Shapes

With the emerging virtual reality, people are becoming more reflective about how they can perform those virtual architectures in real time. Through exposure to the digital age, we believe that there will be a shift in the cultural approach to designing houses. Geometric grids bring absolute hybrid style and comfort to those tech-savvy people.

Color of the Year

Of course there are people who still value superstitious traditions and there is nothing wrong about this. The color for 2022 is Pantone- Very Peri, a very dynamic periwinkle blue hue with an alive violet red undertone. It was stated by the global authority on color. The color brings out a satisfying aura and gives a mild pleasure when looking at it so having your stuff and interiors painted with the color of the year is worthy.

Anything but Glass

It is stated that history repeats itself and this was made true with this design. Years ago, glass blocks were the foundation of the best designs there is. However, with the emergence of the different structures, it was quickly washed away. Last year it was reintroduced by interior designers and others are trying to cope with the idea. With this, I think it's the best year for glass blocks to have a comeback.

Multipurpose Furniture

Furniture has been the defining material of a good interior design. However, throughout the course of time, people started to utilize ergonomic use of furniture. There's a possibility that this might be one of the trendy stuff which will arise this year. A table that when turned upside down can become a bed is a space saver!

Library

With the pandemic still in effect, people tend to rely on indoor activities at most. This opens up opportunities for people to do stuff like reading. Installing your own library is never new, but what sets putting one up right now different is that the price of materials and books is at an all time low right now. Having a library installed in your house helps in entertaining guests and visitors.

So, these are the designs we are keeping an eye on. Some aren't that expensive to fulfill but it helps a lot. We hope this helps. We're waiting to see your house on the most trendy designs in 2022!
