What's In with Paint Colors for Your Home

You want your walls to look great, but you don’t know which paint color would be best for the space. There are a lot of confusing choices out there, so we narrowed it down to 10 safe bets that work with any style and design scheme. Here are some options for you.

We hope this blog post will make things easier! Happy painting! :)

1) Seafoam Green.

This is a great choice for a living room. It's bright and vibrant. It makes a statement, but it's not overwhelming, so it won't take over the space. This will be a great color to use for the walls of your home office too.

2) Rich Earthy Brown.

You can use this color in your home office, dining room or bedroom. Darker colors work well for these rooms because they make them feel cozy and warm, but this color is a little more bold than the usual dark browns.

If you're looking for something that's easy to match with furniture, this is a better choice than black because it'll go with everything, including earth tones and lighter shades.

3) Sunny Yellow.

This is one of our favorite colors for an accent wall or a kitchen backsplash. You can also try painting one side of the wall in your entryway or hallway with this bright pop of color to give a little life and interest to that space without making it too busy or overwhelming.

4) Deep Blue Ocean.

This calming color is one that you can use throughout your entire home. It works great in a living room, bedroom or family room. It's ocean blue so it's relaxing, but it also has hints of teal in it, which makes it more modern and energizing.

If you're looking for something that works well with your current furniture, try pairing this color with white and creating a nautical look.

5) Silver Gray.

This color is a great choice for an accent wall, especially if you're looking for something that's not too vibrant or flashy. It's similar to the silver-gray paint that's used on newer refrigerators and dishwashers. You can add paint color to your kitchen or entryway with this color to give a different look to the area.

This smooth, metallic look will instantly increase the value of your home and make people want to come in and see what you've done.

6) Blush Pink.

This is a great color for the bedroom. It's bright and cheery, but it's also calming and relaxing at the same time. You can paint an accent wall with this color instead of using wallpaper for a completely different look.

7) Chocolate Brown.

This may not be the first choice for a living room, but it can work well when matched to certain pieces of furniture that are already in the room. It's a deeper brown, so it will add depth and warmth to your home without making it feel as dark as black or navy blue would.

If you're going to use this color as an accent or feature wall in your room, try pairing it with white for a contrast between light and dark.

8) Bright Orange.

This is a bold color that's perfect for a dining room or kitchen. It's the type of color that works well in warm spaces that are open and breezy. If you look at some of the top-rated paint colors for kitchens, you'll notice that orange is usually one of them.

That's because it makes cooking seem even more fun and inviting, as well as easier to clean up when the time comes! You can also use this color in the living room or family room to make them feel cheerier.

9) Deep Red.

This is one of our favorite colors for bedrooms. It feels very warm and inviting when paired with grey or black furniture pieces. It makes for the ideal color palette for a modern, edgy, and inviting room.

10) Gray.

This is a great color choice for a home office or bedroom. It's a little darker than silver grey, which gives it an even more modern look. It also can help create the illusion of more space in your room, which is great if you're dealing with small quarters.

11) Deep Rich Blue or Wine

Red. (Bonus tip!)

Both colors are perfect for bedrooms, living rooms or dining areas as an accent wall to provide interest and depth to the room while creating unity between sections of the room.

Deep red is great but I really can't stand red hues haha! I like the seafoam green though. Reminds of the ocean view from my condo property in Manila. :)
